In the world of gas chromatography, most gas samples need heat to force any analytes that would otherwise stick to the inside of the sample cylinder back into the gas phase. This heat greatly improves the accuracy of subsequent analyses by returning to the sample analytes that, without the heat, would be underreported.

Analyzer Compatibility

The SAS100 features the ability to connect to any gas chromatograph which has a digital remote start capability. The system will send a digital signal to prepare the analyzer to run, will then read a digital input signal waiting for the analyzer to report "ready". Once the analyzer is ready, the SAS100 will use a digital output signal to start the analyzer.

By default, the SAS100 comes with a DB9 connector and cable which is compatible with Agilent Technologies GCs. Other connectors are available upon request.

Calibration Standard Port

The SAS100 features a 1/8" Swagelok fitting on the front of the instrument which allows for easy connection to a calibration standard. This port is connected to a sample selection valve within the SAS100 which allows for easy switching between the sample cylinder and the calibration standard.
